At the Winter Olympics opening ceremony a few special volunteers, handpicked by the South Korean government, sat in the VIP section alongside the President Moon Jae-in.
Two of them were North Korean refugees.
They were brought to the South during the Korean War by American troops, in the largest humanitarian sea convoy in US history.
