Several world leaders are gathering in Papua New Guinea for the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation – or APEC – summit.
Some analysts are calling the event the “Xi show”, with China’s leader expected to be the most in demand and US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin skipping this year’s event.
