Some senior senators in the United States say the time has come for the Trump administration to condemn Saudi Arabia for the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, or else Congress will act.
It follows a briefing by CIA chief Gina Haspel to the top senators. Those who emerged from the meeting were unified in their assessment that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered Khashoggi’s murder and must be held to account.
