Margaret Payne, 90, spent two months completing a fundraising feat climbing stairs at her home. One step at a time, she reached 731 metres in 73 days — a distance equal to Scotland’s Suilven mountain, which she had climbed when she was about 15. Payne successfully raised over US$520,000 for Britain’s National Health Service in gratitude for their care of her husband, who had passed away last year.
