Bolivia’s interim government says it wants to work towards improving relations with the United States.
The first step in the process has been to appoint the country’s first ambassador to the US in more than 10 years.
This follows a host of changes to foreign policy after Former President Evo Morales resigned and fled to Mexico where he was granted political asylum.
His claim of victory over disputed elections last month ignited protests.
