Many countries in Europe and around the world have turned to China to find supplies of test kits, masks and other medical supplies to help them manage the coronavirus pandemic. As domestic demand eases in China, the nation has ramped up exports of the items to Europe where there are shortages. But in Spain, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, some of the medical supplies from China have been rejected because they are reportedly below promised standards. Chinese authorities say they are looking into the possibility that some manufacturers did not have approval to sell the medical supplies.
