A Pune-based defence manufacturing start-up has made a heavy-lift utility drone that can even carry a human. Sagar Defence Engineering named their drone ‘Varuna’, which will soon be inducted into the Indian Navy. The drone was designed keeping the requirements of the Indian Navy in mind. It can also transport goods and personnel between sailing warships.
