Fighters from the Wagner mercenary group are withdrawing from the Russian cities of Veronesh and Rostov on Don, Wagner troops took control of them during its mutiny on Saturday.
Convoys came within 200 kilometers of Moscow, before they were ordered to return to their bases.
Under an agreement brokered by Belarus, Wagner leader Yvgeny Prigozhin and his fighters won’t be prosecuted.
