Buenos Aires has more bookstores per capita than any other capital city in the world.
But an economic crisis is threatening to open a dark new chapter for Argentina’s book publishing sector.
Although the economic struggle threatens jobs and small businesses, it could also affect the culture of the South American nation that produced literary juggernauts such as Julio Cortazar and Jorge Luis Borges.
