Rocket Lab on Sunday launched ELaNa-19 (Educational Launch of Nanosatellites 19) mission for NASA from Mahia Peninsula, on the east coast of New Zealand’s north Island.
The mission goal is to put 13 small research satellites into low-Earth orbit, and according to the local media, it was the first time NASA booked a private rocket to get this job done.
