London police were called to a pro-Palestine demonstration on Saturday after a speaker issued a call to “normalise massacres”.
The speaker, Palestinian activist Mohammed El-Kurd, was at the protest when he made his statement about the normalisation of massacres.
“I dare you to look into the eyes of a Gazan child and tell him you tried your best. Our day will come. But we must not be complacent. Our day will come. But we must normalize massacres as a status quo,” El-Kurd stated.
Metropolitan police announced on X they were aware of the video and El-Kurd’s comments.
Thousands of pro-Palestine protesters marched through London, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza as part of a global day of action against Israel’s military actions against Hamas.
