The US-sponsored two-day conference on the security situation in the Middle East and the threat posed by Iran has kicked off in Poland.
Representatives from 60 nations are at the meeting in Warsaw, including the US secretary of state.
But Russia isn’t attending and the European Union has only sent low-level delegates.
Critics say the meeting will be ineffectual because many key players in the Arab world are missing.
Al Jazeera’s Jamal Elshayyal reports from Warsaw.
