China’s largest technology company Alibaba started trading on the Hong Kong stock exchange on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. The listing was world’s largest so far in 2019, and followed up the company record-breaking debut on the New York Stock Exchange five years earlier.In an interview with the South China Morning Post, Alibaba Chairman and CEO Daniel Zhang spoke about the initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong as well as how the e-commerce giant will continue to pursue globalisation as a core strategy in the face of the ongoing US-China trade war.
