Agriculture and Emergency Management Minister Murray Watt says people are starting to see through some of the “negativity” and “scare campaigns” coming from the No campaign against the Voice.
“They’ve really overegged this … with all the scare campaigns claiming it’s going to affect everything from parking tickets to the colour of your hair will be the next thing,” Mr Watt told Sky News Australia.
“The Yes campaign is being very positive, focusing on what this is really about – which is recognising our Indigenous people in our constitution, listening to them so that we can get better results.
“And I think that’s what the majority of Australians want to see happen.”
