Wilko’s administrators have offloaded 51 Wilko stores to B&M but the discount retailer is yet to confirm whether workers at the sites will be retained.
Sky’s city editor Mark Kleinman stressed the outlook for a broader rescue deal now looks much less certain which will be worrying news for the company’s 12,500 employees.
