Mainland China may have had four times as many Covid-19 cases as the official total in mid-February, 2020, if a broader system for classifying confirmed patients had been used from the outset of the pandemic, a recently published study has found. The research by University of Hong Kong was published April 21 in The Lancet medical journal.
