Tourism and Transport Forum CEO Margy Osmond is hopeful the demand for Australian tourists in China will be “very strong” as the country plans to reopen its borders this weekend after its three-year closure.
“One of the biggest global trends post-pandemic is people’s deep desire to get out in the great outdoors and wide open spaces,” Ms Osmond told Sky News Australia.
“We need more international carriers coming in and out of Australia again.”
