There is a “coordinated international effort” to expand government censorship of ordinary citizens on social media and internet platforms, according to author and environmental policy expert Michael Shellenberger.
“I think the most dangerous is the European Union because the idea there – this is the openly hoped for idea among European bureaucrats and … their allies and other countries,” he told Sky News Australia.
“Is that they’ll impose censorship that will then be – effectively global censorship on those platforms.”
