Danish transport giant Maersk says it will start sending ships through the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden again.
They’re linked by the Bab al Mandab Strait.
It’s a vital sea route which leads to the Suez Canal.
Several firms stopped using the route, when Yemen’s Houthi fighters targeted tankers and container ships.
The Houthis say it’s a response to Israel’s War on Gaza.
Maersk says its decision to use the route again is because of protection offered by a US-led fleet.
Al Jazeera’s Resul Serdar is monitoring developments from Djibouti.
