The Australian’s Johannes Leak says the “fun police” ruin Australia Day by making those who celebrate “feel guilty”.
“It used to be a day everybody looked forward to, and now people walk around not knowing how they’re supposed to behave,” Mr Leak told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“They don’t feel comfortable anymore just enjoying the day and celebrating this country we live in.”
