The NDA has started the 2019 election campaign by bringing in the Quota Bill for Economically poor Upper Class and the other parties are now attacking BJP over their intentions.
The opposition is not the only problem for BJP, the other problem is, more than 85% of the population will be competing for this 10% category. Effectively, this is what the General category is doing already.
So the main question for the debate is, Does the government know how many households will fall under this category?
How is this a reservation at all as the competition is still the same?
