Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he is withdrawing his request for parliamentary immunity from prosecution over charges of corruption.
Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement saying proceedings in parliament would have been a “circus”, and he did not want to take part in the “dirty game”.
Netanyahu was indicted on counts of fraud, breach of trust and bribery in November.
