To grasp the scale of Covid-19 infections in the country, Japan has set up more walk-through and drive-through facilities. Medical experts stressed the need to test more people for coronavirus after seeing a recent rise in the rate of people testing positive. As of April 24, 2020, there had been 11,950 coronavirus cases and 299 deaths recorded in Japan.
