Four directors nominated by AGL's major shareholder Mike Cannon-Brookes have been elected to the board of the energy giant today.
Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd said it is a “big win” for Mike Cannon-Brookes and he now has “a lot of power” to make decisions at the company.
The plan with AGL is to slowly close the power stations and make it into a “green energy” company, Mr Boyd said.
