Kim Ki-nam, one of North Korea’s longest-serving officials who has worked for all three leaders of the reclusive state, has died aged 94. As head of the propaganda unit, he played a key role in cementing the political legitimacy of the Kim dynasty. Current leader Kim Jong-un paid tribute to the late official describing him as a “veteran revolutionary” who remained loyal to the country until the end.
