Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is “obsessed by his Voice”.
Ms Ley’s comments come as the Voice to Parliament referendum nears while concerns are still being raised for the current cost of living crisis Australians are facing.
The Deputy Opposition Leader said Australians expect “leadership” and “answers” from their government.
“They expect a prime minister who backs them in, in their day-to-day lives,” Ms Ley told Sky News Australia.
“Instead, we got Anthony Albanese obsessed by his Voice and seeming to leave ordinary Australians behind.
“Exactly the one thing he said he wouldn’t do.”
