A camera operator has been injured and professional drag racer Sam Fenech killed after a car lost control on a drag strip at Willowbank Raceway in Ipswich, west of Brisbane.
The racing accident saw Mr Fenech's car fly off the raceway before colliding with a camera tower.
The driver succumbed to injuries and died at the scene, while two patients were treated onsite with one listed as critical and the other as stable.
