Indonesia is facing an unexpected consequence of the coronavirus. As health clinics temporarily closed, slashed hours or were seen as too dangerous to visit amid the Covid-19 pandemic, many women were unable to access contraceptives. That means the Southeast Asian nation may see about 400,000 more babies than usual being born in the months ahead, according to Indonesia’s national family planning agency.
