A Russian “spy” ship stopped at sites around wind farms off the Scottish coast in order to gather intelligence, an investigation has claimed.
The news was not that shocking according to former Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff Sir Simon Mayall as this practice dates back to the Soviet era.
Speaking to Sky News Sir Simon said that sending the ship was “clearly the act of an unfriendly nation” and said that the UK’s capacity to actually stop them doing such things was “fairly limited.”
