Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday claimed that Indian pilots were detained after two MIGs were shot down, as he cautioned against any “miscalculation” in case of an escalation between the two nuclear-armed countries and offered to defuse tensions through talks.
“Our action was only intended to convey that if you can come into our country, we can do the same. Two of their MiGs were shot down (in the ensuing action) and their pilots are with us,” Khan said in an address to the nation which was telecast live.
पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान ने बुधवार को दावा किया कि दो पायलटों को गोली मारने के बाद भारतीय पायलटों को हिरासत में लिया गया था, क्योंकि उन्होंने दो परमाणु हथियारों से लैस देशों के बीच बढ़ोत्तरी के मामले में किसी भी ” गलतफहमी ” के खिलाफ आगाह किया था और बातचीत के जरिए छेड़छाड़ करने की पेशकश की थी।
खान ने एक संबोधन में कहा, “हमारी कार्रवाई केवल यह बताने के लिए थी कि यदि आप हमारे देश में आ सकते हैं, तो हम भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं। उनके दो मिग को गोली मार दी गई (आगामी कार्रवाई में) और उनके पायलट हमारे साथ हैं।” जिस देश में लाइव टेलीकास्ट होता था।
