Ten girls from Zimbabwe’s low-income settlement of Hatcliffe are ready to represent their country at the upcoming Street Children’s World Cup in Qatar, and football gives them the courage and confidence to break stereotypes.
The tournament aims to highlight the plight of more than 100 million children living in poverty worldwide.
Al Jazeera’s Haru Mutasa reports from Harare where she met the girl’s team who are representing Zimbabwe.
