Over the past year, they have built a loyal following at intimate gigs across Ireland, Scotland, England and France. TRÚ is Michael Mormecha, Zach Trouton and Dónal Kearney. Individually, they are each experienced multi-genre performers. Collectively, their unique approach to folksong is both reverent and contemporary. With innovative arrangements of old songs and edgy new compositions inspired by ancient themes, TRÚ’s music has been noticed by the BBC, Celtic Connections, and continues to turn heads within the Irish folk scene. Their 2019 touring schedule is filling up fast.
