The “historic” indictment of former US president Donald Trump is “not the kind of history you want to make,” according to HOFSTRA University Law Professor James Sample.
“In the near term, almost certainly not,” Mr Sample told Sky News Australia when asked if he thought Mr Trump could face jail time.
“He will be traveling to NY – the details of that are sure to be worked out with the Secret Service and the various law enforcement agencies and in coordination with NYPD.”
