The Opposition doesn’t want “stunts” from the Albanese government, they want outcomes, according to Opposition leader Peter Dutton.
This comes after Mr Dutton stepped up his attacks on Labor over its migration plans last week and questioned where people were going to live amid a housing crisis.
“You can’t announce a big Australia policy with 1.5 million people coming into Australia over five years, competing with Australians who can’t rent a unit or a house now,” Mr Dutton said during a media conference on Monday.
“You’re going to put upward pressure on prices – both rents and home prices at the same time that you’re choking supply.”
