Sky News host Rita Panahi says the Yes campaign’s “mass tantrum” after the Voice to Parliament failed won’t change the referendum’s result.
The proposed Voice to Parliament was overwhelmingly rejected by Australia on October 14, prompting members of the Yes camp to take aim at the Coalition and No supporters in an open letter.
Ms Panahi said the Yes camp had every advantage with its corporate support and backing from Australia’s sporting bodies.
“If anything, it is alienating people even more, so if you had another vote, I would bet that it would be even a lower vote for the Yes camp,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“Australians don’t want racial separatism, they don’t want racial privilege enshrined into our constitution.”
